Father Thomas Keating: Oneness and the Heart of the World
“Creation and evolution are one and the same. Science and religion go hand in hand. One without the other leaves humanity lost in the literature, searching in vain for answers to post-modern problems in ancient religious texts written when people believed the world was flat.”
Rev. Michael Dowd
Thich Naht Hanh: Walking Meditation
Each of us, to a lesser or greater degree, considers the nature of the world, the cosmos, and our own life. This dance between who we are, the nature of creation, and our understanding of the creative force, informs the rhythm of daily life and the choices we make.
We continue to thoughtfully consider the ways in which we can expand this center of focus with the intention to support each person in the unfolding of his/her spiritual path according to individual choice.
While this aspect of our program is undergoing development, all our programs have embedded within them the dropping away of the old and the arising of the new, or deeper, self.
“When you begin to touch your heart or let your heart be touched, you begin to discover that it's bottomless, that it doesn’t have any resolution, that this heart is huge, vast, and limitless. You begin to discover how much warmth and gentleness is there, as well as how much space.”
